NJ Eye and Ear Specialists Begin Performing Procedures at New State-of-the-Art Precision Surgery Center

NJ Eye and Ear is proud to announce its participation in the newly opened Precision Surgery Center of Englewood Cliffs, a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center designed to provide patients with convenient access to advanced outpatient surgical care in Northern New Jersey.
Among the first surgeons to perform procedures at the new facility was Dr. Lawrence Geyman, a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist and cataract surgeon at NJ Eye and Ear. His participation marks an important milestone as NJ Eye and Ear expands surgical access for patients requiring cataract, glaucoma, and other ophthalmic procedures in a modern, patient-focused environment.
"The opening of Precision Surgery Center represents an exciting opportunity for our patients," said Dr. Geyman. "The facility combines advanced technology, efficiency, and patient comfort, allowing us to continue delivering exceptional surgical care close to home. I am honored to be among the first surgeons performing procedures there and look forward to helping grow ophthalmic services at the center."
Precision Surgery Center recently began welcoming ophthalmologic cases as part of an expansion of specialties offered at the facility. Additional NJ Eye and Ear physicians are expected to perform procedures there, further enhancing access to high-quality surgical eye care throughout Bergen County and the surrounding communities.
NJ Eye and Ear has served New Jersey residents for decades as one of the region's leading multidisciplinary eye, ear, nose, and throat practices. With locations across Northern New Jersey, the practice is home to a team of highly trained specialists spanning cataract surgery, glaucoma, cornea, retina, pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastics, audiology, and ENT care.
Dr. Geyman brings extensive expertise in both cataract and glaucoma surgery. He completed his glaucoma fellowship at the renowned Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins Hospital following residency training at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he served as Chief Resident. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has published research in leading ophthalmology journals while remaining actively involved in national glaucoma education and patient advocacy initiatives.
The addition of Precision Surgery Center strengthens NJ Eye and Ear's commitment to investing in advanced technologies, innovative treatment options, and expanded access to care. By partnering with a modern outpatient surgical facility, the practice continues its mission of delivering world-class specialty care while improving convenience and the overall patient experience.
