Dr. Mary Labowsky, originally born and raised in New Jersey, graduated cum laude from Yale University, followed by medical school at Duke University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where she was selected as Chief Resident, followed by a Neuro-Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear. She was on faculty at the University of Colorado School of Medicine before returning to the East Coast. Dr. Labowsky practices comprehensive ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, and Adult Strabismus. She has a particular interest in disorders of the optic nerve (including idiopathic intracranial hypertension, optic neuritis, and ischemic optic neuropathies), as well as disorders of eye movement.
