Joseph S. Szorentini, O.D., is a dedicated optometrist committed to providing comprehensive eye care and enhancing patients' vision health.
Dr. Szorentini earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2020, where he was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society for his academic excellence. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Ramapo College of New Jersey, laying a strong foundation in the sciences that informs his clinical approach.
Following graduation, Dr. Szorentini served honorably in the United States Army from 2020 to 2024, rising to the roles of Chief of Optometry and Medical Company Commander. In these positions, he led eye care services for military personnel, managed clinical operations, and ensured high standards of vision readiness in demanding environments. His military experience honed his skills in patient-centered care, diagnostics, and treatment of a wide range of ocular conditions.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Szorentini values time with his family and maintains an active lifestyle through weightlifting, workouts, and playing video games. He is passionate about giving back to the community, particularly through volunteer work with veteran charities, reflecting his commitment to supporting those who have served.
